Our Mission

The mission of Merkos Women is to nurture thoughtful, confident Jewish women who are deeply connected to Torah, guided by the Rebbe’s vision, and inspired to live with purpose and joy.

Through meaningful learning, personal mentorship, and a warm community environment, we strive to help each student develop strong values, self-understanding, and a genuine relationship with Yiddishkeit. Our goal is to provide not only knowledge, but direction — empowering young women to build strong Jewish homes, contribute positively to their communities, and play an active role in shaping the Jewish future.

Merkos Women is guided by the vision and teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, who taught that every Jewish woman carries a unique strength and an essential role in shaping the future of the Jewish people. Rooted in Torah values and inspired by the warmth and depth of Chassidus, our program helps students build a genuine and lasting connection to Hashem, Torah, and Jewish life.

In an atmosphere of warmth, encouragement, and personal care, each participant is supported in discovering her strengths and growing with confidence and clarity. Through meaningful learning and close guidance, students develop the foundations to build strong Jewish homes, contribute positively to their communities, and live with purpose and joy.

At Merkos Women, growth is nurtured gently and authentically — empowering each woman to carry the Rebbe’s vision forward and bring light to the world in her own unique way.

Mrs Nicole Kornhauser

Principal

Mrs Kornhauser began this program under the guidance of Reb Arel Serebryanski in 1996. While juggling family commitments and teaching part time, Mrs Konhauser is also committed to the students' welfare, and passionate about nurturing the personal growth of each girl attending.

Rabbi Hoch has a unique ability to bring lofty concepts down into relatable everyday practice and living. Over the years he has provided countless women with a solid Torah education enabling them to establish fine Jewish homes.

Mrs Rochel Pinczower

General Manager & Coordinator
Mrs Rochel Pinczower runs the Merkos office. As a former Occupational Therapist, she is committed to providing an environment in which the students can flourish and reach their full potential. Mrs Pinczower organizes the paperwork, food, accommodation, studies, maintenance and more. She is delighted to assist with your enquiries.

Mrs. Shifra Gopin brings warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm to her role at Merkos Women. A graduate of Machon Shoshanat Yerushalayim Seminary, she has spent several years in education, developing a deep passion for nurturing students in a positive and supportive environment.
